How We Got Engaged
We were on vacation in Maui, Hawaii. We rented a house near the beach and started the day by snorkeling with majestic sea turtles. We must have seen something like 5 to 7 different turtles and some swam close enough for us to almost touch.

After snorkeling we warmed up in the the condo's seaside jacuzzi, then went looking for sea shells in the nearby tidepools, ending up at a local taco truck sampling delicious fish tacos for lunch.

We watched the sunset on the beach together and started getting ready for dinner.

As Mesi was getting dressed, Wade asked to show her the progress he made on the latest iPad game he has been working on.
Turns out the game was really a custom app he's been secretly putting together. It showed two particles - one red and one blue - swimming around each other to music. Halfway through "Mesi, will you marry me?" appeared on the screen and Wade dropped to one knee with a ring in hand. She said yes.
